Who does the massage at Selah?
Two licensed Texas massage therapists who practise here independently:
- Samuel Quintero (Calma Bodywork): Swedish, deep tissue, sports, therapeutic, prenatal and reflexology.
- Elizabeth (Healing Breeze Health & Beauty): her own Botanical Relief and Signature massages, and spa experiences that pair massage with facial work. She is also a licensed esthetician.

How much does a massage cost in Livingston?
At Selah, from the published menu:
- 60 minutes: $105 (wellness or therapeutic) to $175 (Signature). Swedish with Sam is $100.
- 90 minutes: $150 to $300, depending on the type.
- Couples massage: $210 for 60 minutes, $300 for 90 minutes or $420 for 120 minutes, covering both people. Details on the couples massage page.
- Half-day spa experiences: up to $265.
How do I check that a massage business in Texas is licensed?
In Texas, a business that offers massage needs a massage establishment licence from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), and each therapist needs their own licence. You can check both yourself, for free, in about a minute:
- Open the TDLR license search.
- Choose massage therapy, then search by business name, licence number or city.
- Look for an active status and an expiry date in the future.
Selah’s licence number is ME11011, issued 8 October 2026. It is also printed at the foot of every page on this site. We would rather you check than take our word for it.
Which massage should I book?
- You want to switch off: Swedish. Long, steady strokes, lighter pressure.
- Something specific feels tight: deep tissue. Slower and firmer.
- You train or play sport: sports massage, built around what your body does.
- You are pregnant: prenatal massage, side-lying and supported. Tell us how far along you are when you book.
- Only a lunch break: reflexology, focused on the feet.
- A birthday or anniversary: couples massage, two therapists in one room.
- The whole afternoon: a spa experience that pairs massage with a facial.

How far ahead should I book?
A single 60-minute session can often be found within the week. Couples massage, 120-minute sessions and the half-day experiences need more notice, because they take two therapists or a long block. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; closed Saturday and Sunday.
I live in Onalaska or on Lake Livingston. Is it worth the drive?
Clients come in from Onalaska, Goodrich, Corrigan, Leggett, Coldspring, Shepherd and Trinity. Most of Polk County is within half an hour of US 190 W. Open in Google Maps.
